Blog #3 How are you holding up

Now that we are near the end of the first six weeks I am getting the hang of things. I still have trouble with time management and not burning myself out. I am working on creating a way to plan out my day and how I can complete everything I need to do in and out of school. From all of the experiences I have had in English I have learned how the class is structured and how to handle thing. I have tons of homework for every class plus all of my extra curricular activities. I am a high school football player, powerlifter, a member of the school orchestra, and I throw shotput and discus for the school track and field team. When I graduate from high school I would like to go to college and a big university like Texas A&M. I hope to get scholarships for not only my academics but my athletic abilities too. I want to study in the fields of Wildlife and Fisheries or Kinesiology. When I graduate from college I hope to move back to my home town of College Station, Texas and either become a ...

Blog #2 Childrens book

 When I was a child my favorite children's book was Green Eggs and Ham By Dr. Seuss. I remember when I was little my Grandfather would read Green Eggs and Ham to Calm me down. It was one of the only books he ever read to me and is very sentimental to me. I remember a little creature named Sam trying to get this guy to try green eggs and ham. Sam annoyed the guy by following him everywhere and asking him if he would try green eggs and ham wherever he went. The guy always said he hated green eggs and ham. Finally the guy gave in to Sam and tried green eggs and ham and found out he liked it. I remember pictures of the places that Sam followed the guy to like on a train, in a car, on a plane, and in the dark. There was also a picture of the guy trying the green eggs and ham. Green Eggs and Ham By Dr. Seuss was on of my favorite books because it brought my grandfather and I closer together when I was a child.
