blog #5 favorite movie

My favorite movie is Rocky. Rocky Balboa a.k.a. the Italian Stallion is a no name boxer with very little money who has been chosen to fight the Heavyweight World Champion boxer Apollo Creed. Balboa trains hard working day and night preparing to fight Apollo Creed. Rocky brings back memories of when I was young and my great Uncle Buck would drive down from Washington State in his motor home every summer to see me. He and I would sit in the RV on days of bad weather and watch movies but Rocky was the first. Every since then when he visits we spend time together watching Rocky. Rocky starting at the very bottom and ending up the World Champion has inspired me to work hard to achieve my goals and to never give up even when under almost unbearable amounts of stress. Rocky has changed the way I look at obstacles I face in life. For example last year I got a concussion during the first scrimmage of my high school football carrier. Blog #4 best friends

My best friend is my best friend because he and I like the same things. We enjoy hanging out with each other and running trout lines at the lake in are free time. Both of us love to participate in sports and other extracurriculars activities like football and school clubs. We are both on the Junior Varsity football team at A&M Consolidated High School. On gamedays he and I sit down, watch film, make separate game plans, and then compare ideas on how we can handle what we are going to face during the game later on that day and how we can handle the defensive line. He and I have been friends for five years. We met at Oakwood Intermediate School in the fifth grade  while playing football during physical education midway through the first six weeks of school. Our friendship is the best because we can always rely on each other no matter what happens.
